Veilfile

Connect your agent

The MCP server is at https://veilfile.com/mcp. Clients that support MCP sign-in ask you to sign in the first time; your account needs a verified email. Clients that don’t take an API key instead: create one in your dashboard and export it as VEILFILE_API_KEY.

Claude Code

claude mcp add --transport http veilfile https://veilfile.com/mcp \
  --header "Authorization: Bearer $VEILFILE_API_KEY"

Codex

codex mcp add veilfile --url https://veilfile.com/mcp --bearer-token-env-var VEILFILE_API_KEY

Cursor

In ~/.cursor/mcp.json:

{
  "mcpServers": {
    "veilfile": {
      "url": "https://veilfile.com/mcp",
      "headers": { "Authorization": "Bearer ${env:VEILFILE_API_KEY}" }
    }
  }
}

The Claude apps

Add a custom connector with the address above, and sign in when it asks.

Every other client, and each option in full: agent setup, in the Docs.

Or use the command line

npm install -g veilfile # or: pip install veilfile
veilfile login # approve in your browser
veilfile push report.pdf # prints a private link

Or plain HTTP

curl -X POST https://veilfile.com/api/v1/artifacts \
  -H "Authorization: Bearer $VEILFILE_API_KEY" \
  -F "file=@screenshot.png" -F "ttl_days=7"

Agents can read everything they need in one file: llms.txt.
